LOVELAND DAIRY WHIP CELEBRATING SERVING LOVELAND FOR
55 YEARS

Loveland, OH – June 14, 2010

Do you remember when the Post Office and the Sohio Station
operated at the corner of W. Loveland and Oak Street (now
Loveland Madeira)?  Do you remember when the newest business in
Loveland was to open at this same corner?  If you do, you must have
been born before 1955.

The “Dairy Whip Drive-In” as Mrs. Brennan (the original owner) put it,
opened July 8, 1955. The Loveland Dairy Whip is celebrating its 55th
anniversary the weekend of July 9th 2010.  The Dairy Whip has
been serving soft serve ice cream from the same location since its
Grand Opening.  As Mrs. Brennan offered in 1955, the Dairy Whip
will have a Buy One Sundae, Get One Sundae Free special all
weekend to celebrate its anniversary and to thank its loyal
customers.

Teresa Morgan (current owner) got her start at age 11 by bagging
hamburgers for her parents, Marian & Jim Flint, which owned the
Dairy Whip from1972 through 1986.  The Dairy Whip no longer
serves food as the “Fifth Wheel Hamburgers “ which was popular in
the 70s when the Flints owned it, however, it is still known for its
creamy soft serve ice cream.  The Dairy Whip uses a quality soft
serve mix from Trauth Dairy.  Soft serve desserts are made fresh
before your eyes.  While offering the usual vanilla, chocolate and
twist cones (with eyes for kids) which can be topped with sprinkles or
chocolate/cherry/butterscotch dip top, as well as banana boats and
sundaes.  The specialties are Parfay’s and Cyclones with a variety of
candy toppings.  The Chocolate Mountain, Reese Tulip and Hot
Fudge Sundae are only a few of the favorites.

This year the Apple Carmel Delight Parfay (Vanilla soft serve, warm
Apple and Caramel toppings, whip cream, nuts and a cherry on top!)
has been added to the menu.   They are also adding a third soft
serve machine.  Rick says “We have needed one for a while now and
hopes it will enable the Drive Thru window to operate more
efficiently.”  There are also future plans to expand and upgrade the
picnic areas and parking lot.

In honor of Jim Flint which passed this year of lung cancer, Teresa
and Rick would like to find those customers and employees that
remember when the “Dairy Whip Drive-In” first opened in 1955.  Rick
is looking for pictures and stories of those days so that history is not
lost.  Please look up Rick at the Dairy Whip, via email, or on
Facebook.

LOVELAND DAIRY WHIP CELEBRATING SEASON OPENING AND
BRAND “NEW” LOOK

Loveland, OH – February 23, 2015

Announcing Season Opening 2:00 pm February 27th, 2015 and
celebrating a Grand Re-opening event 11:30 am March 2nd, 2015.

After closing in the fall of 2014, the Dairy Whip underwent a long
needed major property improvement project from expanding the
parking lot and picnic area to rearranging the inside by removing the
original walk-in cooler and adding new cooler to the exterior.

The “NEW” Dairy Whip, still owned by Teresa & Rick Morgan has a
brand new look. The Morgan’s have been planning these
improvements since before 2007.  All new improvements will enhance
our customer experience.  New picnic area behind the building,
landscape upgraded in current picnic areas, eight more parking
spaces, longer drive-thru queue and new dedicated work area inside
for the drive-thru.  A new beautiful Banana Boat road sign, the Dairy
Whip has not had a road sign since 1976.

A family-owned business offering a wide variety of soft-serve
specialty ice cream desserts using a premium soft serve mix.   The
Chocolate Mountain, the Peanut Butter Krusher, the E.T. Parfay, and
the Caramel Apple Delight are just a few desserts offered.  For the
little ones, we have the Clown Sundae and Gummy Monster.  Your
favorite dessert is made fresh before your eyes. You won't find a
creamier Soft Serve in our area.

The Morgan’s would like to thank all the contractors which helped
make this project a success:  ADI, DADecker, EADS Fence, KS
Designs, Landis Services LLC , Lawn Systems Inc., Miller Heating &
Cooling, Mills Fence, McCarty Associates, MRC Concrete LLC, Rack
Seven Paving, Rick Arnold Masonry, Truman P Young & Associates
